Job #5913

gnarly looking rail ding

that turned out to be crackled filler (enormous piles of it) on the rail, with a delam of the adjacent bottom

slathered with filled Epoxy (the slow 208 hardner!!), covered with peel ply, then taped down from the center outward

tape removed; tapping with a quarter verifies that the bottom is firmly reattached without any voids

all tidied up

"glassed" over with Carbon cloth, with a sacrificial layer of fiberglass on the outside
all feathered out
filled, faired, and primed
painted with LP - metallics are a pain!
